good evening from texas, ive been a fan of mr johnstones books since the early 1980,s i picked up a copy of the ash,s series and was hooked, then i found, preacher' hoo boy,i am from oregon but moved here to this place in 2006,i had been reading, the' Wilderness series by a writer up in that area, being a mountain man type of guy, black powder shooting ect it was just normal to read such books,i enjoy preacher, his humor, his candor, his honest outlook on life during an era of simpler life,to be truthful, tho,i dont really care for the last mountain man books with smoke jensen, not being one into gunfighter books that may be the reason, not to judge you who do'tho,he tends to be a bit far fetched for me,but hey thats ok as we all are not the same, mold,
i find wwj a visonary in his writings and i have a hunch there was far more to this man then we readers will ever know,

I always found Bill to be a visionary.. it is uncanny the things he predicted that have come to fruition.
