1984 was the beginning of the story in the Ashes series.. 1988 is when the action began... (TSHTF)

Escape from the Ashes concluded 20 years of Ben's role as the leader of the Rebels.

2008 would be the year of Ben's final battle.

I must admit that I was very put off by the way the ashes series was ended it could have been written with much more depth and symbolism.....such as Ben Raines finally having the time to write his cronicle in the afterlife...lol. But the Last Rebel series was trasitioned well and was the best read I've had in a long time. The series should be allowed to expand on its own merits not just as an extension of the ashes series, although tying the rebel movement and the tri state manifesto is still viable as a subtext of the new series.

I've read the Last Rebel so many times that my pages are worn out LOL. I would love to know when there is another book coming out. I havent found some of the other books that you mentioned Jo. I can tell you this that I did take several copies of the Ashes series with me when I went to Iraq both times, and if a person has the time to dig around in the MWR library you can come up with a couple of copies. The funny thing is I took like the first few books with me in the Ashes series and some of my guys who like to read alot asked me if I had a book that they could borrow and I loaned them my prized Ashes books under the threat of a lot of pain if they didnt return them to me lol but to my suprise those books made it around the company in record time and back to me in the same condition that I loaned them in. Another suprise was the guys were begging for more and sadly I didnt bring my entire collection with me, so they had to go dig around in the library to see if there were any. One fellow even called home and told his mom to look through the used bookstores to find the books.

I just went to the Kensington web site and looked for an e-mail address, :( NOT. I called Kensington and asked if I could persue a contact to request further additions for Last Rebel, :( NOT. The poor woman did not even know who WJ was, she had to look it up and spent bunch of time looking it up. She came back and said I am not into those type of boks I am SYFY, .
She said I had to do a letter as the people need to see something on paper to know it is meaningful. DDDDUUUUHHH!!!!!

I think I saw the address above so I will go back and get it and flood em like the Acorn group did for OSLAMMA...LOLOLOL I know a bunch of people in the cemetary.
