Looks like they are already out on both Kindle and Nook. The release date is usually the same or at least within a few days of the initial new book release.
Since these formats are fairly new.. it may take a while to get the older series and books on Kindle and Nook, even the standard Ebook format. Eventually, we hope for all of them to be there.
Ask and you shall receive is what I was told. I know Amazon has a clickable link to ask the publisher to release the older books on Kindle.
