Well, I had set the thread up to host military related threads, but until someone checked them and told me that the permissions had not been set properly, I had no clue that noone could enter them. That should be now fixed and the Military and Veterans threads should be opened. As well, if you think that things like the VFW etc etc need to be added, then let me know so I can discuss them with Jo.

Thanks for the new addition to the forums. I've placed a link to my company's website, should anyone desire about 40 hours of reading and viewing pictures and the history of the 174th from day one in Vietnam, to the last days, before the company was deactivated.

Our gunships were called the Sharks. We have written permission from the Flying Tigers Assn. to use the Flying Tigers teeth visage on the front of our gunships. When the Viet Cong saw us coming, he knew we meant what we were doing. And for the troops we served and covered in the field, when they saw the Sharks, they knew they had nothing but the best of support, during pitched battles of any proportion.

The link is titled and if anyone visits, please add it to your favorites. I gurantee you won't have time to go through it all in one evening. Each of us, of the 174th AHC are very proud of our service and especially proud of the great website design. Also, we are very grateful to Jim McDaniels ( webmaster ) for all the time he has spent, to develop such a wonderful tribute to each of us who proudly served with the 174th.
