If you can read them in order.

I started reading them in the early 90's a good spell before they started reprinting them.So I had to bounce from one used bookstore to the other in order to find ones I didn't have.I had to order the two books dealing with the battle for NYC in the mail.....so I jumped from book to book and back again until I had all of them

I started with "Escape from the Ashes" which was the last one and really enjoyed it. Now since they have started reprinting them I would say that it would be best to read them in order. Since it is one continuous story about the movement.
