My first post & suggestion is a separate forum for new members to "introduce" themselves to old and new alike. Maybe give a short blurb on themselves as a way of letting everyone know more about themselves. Sort of like this:

Hello,

My name is Rick Adkins, I'm married w/children (4 son's) and I live in Kansas City, Missouri. I am an avid hunter, fisherman & outdoorsman. My interests are classical & heavy metal music, the study of military history & tactics, 2nd Generation Pontiac Trans Am's and I collect antiques and vintage wine.

Hello all....

My name is Jim Marx and I am from La Crosse, Wisconsin... Yes a Cheeshead and proud of it..... I was a member of the WWJ Forum in its previous form... I brought up posts such as favorite WWJ Character and Which of the WWJ series would you like to see brought back....

I have been a fan of William W Johnstone since I picked up "Out of the Ashes" while in Hawaii in the mid- 80's After reading that one I was hooked and have since tried to pick up anything written by WWJ....

I am not married.. but watch after two wonderful boys aged 2 and 6 that are my ex's... They are the most important things in my life....

I think that I have become more aware after reading the many different books of WWJ... And perhaps I have even become a better person.... What I like best about the WWJ books are that while they entertain... they also make you think.....

Hi all, My name is John Schinelli, and I live in New Mexico, where I work with the homeless. I have been reading Bill's books since almost the beginning, and would love to live in Tri-States, if it existed, although the majority of the people who I work with that are homeless couldnt. I am single, but unlike the stereotypes that people who hate Bill's writings would label us, I am neither unattached or uneducated, as I have a girlfriend (loves Bill's books, but hates forums), and I have a BA in Theology and am working on my Masters. Hope to enjoy lots of back and forths with other fans here.

My name is Jo Smith and I live in Murfreesboro, TN, and as of late.. in front of a computer monitor day and night :D
As it says on the website, I am Bill's number one fan, and rightfully so.. he was the first to hold me after I was born.
I spend my time now, working with JA Johnstone and the publisher, Kensington, in continuing Bill's legacy of his writing, working on Bills' website and answering emails.
I enjoy reading the forum posts from all of Bill's friends. He disliked calling people "Fans", they were his friends. I hope to be that also.

Hey my name is Teyona and I live in Oklahoma.

I am really glad I found this forum and that it is back up and working. I am huge WWJ fan and so is all of my family. I am about 30 books away from having everything he has out right now. I am still looking for the two books he wrote under as William Mason. The other things I enjoy besides reading is anything outdoors, cooking, photography, travel, and writing. I am divorced with no kids.

ps Kolus your Halloween page rocks!!

Well, I suppose I should be polite and sub an intro on myself, seeing as how I'm here....eh?

My name is Dale Cordell and I'm a native Montanan, born, bred and raised here in the beautiful Northwestern part of the state...Kalispell... about 35 miles from the West Entrance of Glacier National Park.

I've been reading westerns for as far back as I can remember. I think I've read almost everything of Mr L'Amour's and have been working on Bill's books since I can't remember when. I do know that my stored WWJ books are yellowing quite "nicely", so it's been a while.

I've always loved series books and Bill has got to be my absolute favorite for his style, political beliefs...or rather.... life beliefs, I prefer to call them. Although Bill's books get down right to the nitty gritty at times ( especially Smoke, sneaking around slitting throats or taking an occaisional head), his books bring home the true feeling and spirit of a man with HONOR! Something too many, today, lack.

Anyhoo.... I'm pleased to meet any and all of Bill's friends and if you read more than two books of his and continue to seek out all of them... then you are a friend of mine, also.

Take care everyone and God Bless each and every one of you!

Hey Andy! Welcome to the WWJ forum and fan club! OK>>> not fan club...but I had ya going for a second. Actually, Bill didn't really like his readers to look to him as one of his "fans", but rather one of his friends. So, you are among a bunch of really fine folks here, near as I can tell. I've become good friends through email, with picdaddy and even an occaissional email to JA, tossing a few chuckles back and forth.

Anyway, glad to have ya among us, so post often and help us get to know you! If ya have any questions about any of Bill's books or series, there's a forum here for each and every one, with people who've read them inside out.

Oh.. and from one vet to another... welcome home and thanks for serving!

Nice meeting y'all!

We have a fantastic group of friends on this forum.

I am sorry we lost all the other forum members on the other forum in the move to a new hosting server. I hope they will be back. They have probably tried to use their old password and are thinking they have been locked out.
I will let people know they have to re-register for the forum in the next newsletter.

Rick, aka TSCommOne, is a long time friend of Bills. He was one of the first to be a part of Bill's first Tri-States group. If you have any questions about the Ashes series and the Tri-States Manifesto, he'd be the one to contact.

Kolus and Lileagle are trying to get you talking in Dog's Den.. I really thought that Johnstone readers would be speaking up more. I have never known any of them to hold their tongue on issues concerning the government and the state of affairs in the USA :? There's an election coming up soon.. anyone have any opinions about the Presidential nominations? Sure, ya do!

I can always count on Msbetty to keep me straight on the Mountain Man series.

Like I've said before, each and everyone of you are a part of the Johnstone family in one way or another.

Speaking of family, I'd like to ask everyone to add Patti r and Roger to your prayer list.. Roger is very ill. They need your prayers.

UtahRedFox, keep those emails coming. Sure wish you would share those opinions and links on the forum. (gotcha!) :P

I enjoy getting to know each of you on a personal level. Life is dull without friends.

Keep in Touch, either by email or the forum.

Jo~
